Nov 16^th 7-9p – Hope Gardens – Women/Kids’s Home - Sylmar, CA

We are planning a Jazz and Poetry Night for our mommies.  So far we have two guest speakers and a saxophone player that will be joining us for this coool (snap, snap) evening.  Since our moms will be at the event we will need some extra assistance with our youth.  The youth will be enjoying Movie Night and we would love some volunteers to come and help us Making Popcorn, taking care of the infants, Playing some games with our toddlers.

 

Nov 17^th – Fire Clean-Up – Lake Arrow Head, CA

We’re heading up to Lake Arrow Head to help with the fire clean up in that area. We’ll be partnering with FIMA and the SoBaptist Disaster Relief Teams. Come and get dirty, sweaty, and tired to help these families

Nov 24^th - Preschool Mural! – Pasadena

We're creating a beautiful mural to inspire the Preschool kids and families in the back of Mott Auditorium.  We're looking for volunteers to help paint a pre-designed mural: Saturday, Nov. 24!  What a great way to spend Thanksgiving weekend! 

 Monday, Nov. 26th, 7–8:30 pm @ Union Rescue Mission, Downtown LA (women 18+ only) SHE Creates is holding a holiday card-making workshop for women at Union Rescue Mission. Come to serve and make beautiful cards along with and for these ladies. All supplies provided, but your own supplies are welcome!

Dec 6^th 8a-4p – Project Homeless Connect – Skid Row

We’re in need of 300 volunteers to help us on this day. Last year over 3,000 homeless men, women and children came to this event. We’re shutting down skid row and brining in service providers of every kind (social security, housing, food stamps, health clinics, etc) to create a one-stop-shop to help get their needs met. There are many ways to get involved, from cooking the hotdogs to personally guiding a homeless client through the experience. There will be two shifts for those who can only make it for half the day.

 

Dec 8^th - Winter Wonderland 2007! - Pasadena

We have a great opportunity to create a fun, engaging experience for the children of L.A., especially those who have never experienced the love of Christ!  We need volunteers to play games, run activities, sing Christmas carols, and set-up/tear down! 

Time: 2-3:15pm &/or 7-9:15pm

 

Dec 8^th – Child Care at Christmas Show – Pasadena

We are in need of volunteers to help care for and play with our babies and toddlers for the Christmas Show!

This is a perfect chance to serve families who need Christ, who wouldn't normally come to a life-changing show because there's a lack of childcare!

Time: 2-3:45pm &/or 7:30-9:15pm

Location: Preschool rooms behind Mott Auditorium
